How do I set up Bill Pay?

Every bank will have its own process for setting up a Bill Pay. If you have difficulty setting up a Bill Pay online, you may need to call your bank for specific instructions.

NOTE: Bill Pay is a manual payment not an automatic transfer from your account. You will NOT need an account or routing number from The Loans Store. When prompted for an account number, please provide The Loan Store loan number listed on your closing documents and/or disclosure forms. Generally, banks request the payee name, payment amount, payment address and phone number. You can find this info below:

When is my first payment due? How much do I owe?

To confirm your first payment due date and the amount due, you can refer to the first payment letter and 2 payment coupons that are included in your closing documents. If you are unable to locate these items, you can always confirm your first payment date by calling The Loan Store servicing team at (833) 843-7861 or by emailing an inquiry to servicing@theloanstore.com. As a courtesy, the Loan Store servicing team will issue a first payment reminder email approximately one week prior to your first payment due date.

I received notification that my loan has been transferred to a new servicer. What does this mean?

The Loan Store does not retain servicing for any of the loans we originate. Once your loan has closed, The Loan Store will begin the process of transferring your loan to a new servicer. The transfer of a loan after close is a very normal occurrence in the mortgage industry and should not be a concern. Rest assured that your loan terms, rate and agreed upon escrow impounds for taxes and homeowner’s insurance (if applicable) will all remain the same. The only difference is that you will be making your mortgage payments to the new loan servicer.

Once the transfer of your loan is complete, you will receive a “Notice of Servicing Transfer” from The Loan Store servicing team. This notice will explain who your new servicer is and how to contact them. Your new servicer will also reach out separately to assist in getting you onboarded to may your payments.
